Dean Ashton backs Zlatan Ibrahimovic as new Signing

Dean Ashton backs Zlatan Ibrahimovic as new Signing

Former West Ham United striker Dean Ashton believes that the Premier League outfit should try and sign Paris St Germain superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swede is one of the instantly recognisable names in world football and he recently revealed that an exit from the French capital may be on the cards. His contract runs out at the end of the campaign and that there has been no talk about a new deal. At 34 years of age, he still has only a couple of years left at the top of the game. Even though PSG may be interested in giving him a new contract, it is understood that Zlatan wants to experience a new culture and challenge.

West Ham will provide these aspects and their move to the Olympic stadium in the summer fits perfectly into the requirements of the 34-year-old. The massive stadium will be able to support 60,000 fans at the same time. This will bring West Ham in line with clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United in terms of stadium capacity. After having played only for big clubs throughout his career, Ibrahimovic will not want to play in front of a few fans. For this reason, Ashton believes that West Ham may have a chance to sign Ibrahimovic and that the club should not forgo this option at any cost.

Louis van Gaal talks about his January transfer plans

Louis van Gaal talks about his January transfer plans

If there is any manager in the world of football that should be worried about losing his job is hands down, Manchester United’s Louis van Gaal. The Dutch coach finished the year of 2015 by sustaining successive underwhelming results and dropping points against teams which simply shouldn’t have happened at all.

Manchester United is consistently being valued as one of the most expensive clubs and squads in football. The Premier League club spends a substantial amount of cash on transfer windows and this is why the pressure is so huge on the managers as they have to collect consistent victories and win big pieces of silverware, especially taking into consideration all the money that is dished out in signing world class players.

Louis van Gaa and his players sustained a string of disappointing results in December of 2015 which included losing against Norwich City, Bournemouth and Stoke City while only being able to collect draws against Chelsea and West Ham United.

This possibly was the most disastrous way that Louis van Gaal could have ended 2015 as his team only managed to secure 2 points from the possible 15 during that specific period of time. The head chiefs of Manchester United have given the Dutch coach some time for him to recover from these depressing results and one of the options that Louis van Gaal will take in order to improve his squad and possibly avoid sustaining more defeats is by signing new players in the winter transfer window.

Sean Dyche confirms that Danny Ings will probably be leaving Burnley

Sean Dyche confirms that Danny Ings will probably be leaving Burnley

The coach of Burnley, Sean Dyche has confirmed that Danny Ings is very likely to be making his way out of the relegated club during this summer as there are a number of clubs interested in signing the 22 year old forward.

At the age of 22, Danny Ings made a total of 35 Premier League appearances in this season for Burnley and he managed to find the back of the net on 11 occasions. This has been enough for the young player to attract the attention and interest of big clubs including: Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Sociedad as they all have shown interest in signing Danny Ings during the summer transfer window.

Even the manager of the team believes that it will be very difficult to keep hold of Danny Ings at Burnley beyond the summer transfer window as the interested clubs are ready to offer enticing offers for the player in order to sign him as fast as possible and the player himself wants to face a bigger challenge, this won’t happen if he stays at Burnley as the club has been relegated to the Championship League.

Burnley’s Sean Dyche revealed the current situation surrounding Danny Ings as the English coach said: “Who knows if he’ll stay probably not, just by the nature of his situation. Possibly? Who knows? I just think he wants a fresh challenge and a bigger challenge; He certainly wants to be in the Premier League so does everyone. He has nicked a good goal and I thought he could have had another. He has played a big part over the last couple of years. He gets a lot of the headlines and I understand why but I wouldn’t single him out against the rest of the group.”

Louis Van Gaal happy with Squad

Louis Van Gaal happy with Squad

Louis Van Gaal believes that the main reason behind Manchester United performing much better this season is that there is more balance in the squad now.

The Red Devils have won 5 out of their 7 games in the Premier League 2015-16.

They topped the table last weekend when they defeated the Black Cats at home.

Speaking post that win, Van Gaal said, “This is a good bunch of players. But, wins are never guaranteed. We might lose somewhere down the line. Luck plays its part as well. But, one thing is for sure is that we have got more balance in the squad this time around and thus, we should be having more positive results.”

“Improvement is something that we should always look for. We have to keep getting better and better with each passing week.”

“As far as I am concerned, rotating the players is much easier for me. If you had observed the previous season, I didn’t opt for much rotation as the balance was not there. So, I would say I am more comfortable now. But, you can only do so much as manager. It’s the players who hold the key. If the structure that is there in place is acceptable to everyone or not, that is very important. At the moment, I am doing my job and the players are doing their job fantastically well too.”

Chelsea only needs 3 more league wins but Mourinho still doesn’t want to celebrate

Chelsea reinforced their position at the top of the Premier League after defeating Manchester United with a narrow 1-0 victory. The only goal of the entire match was scored by Eden Hazard at the 38th minute. Even though it was Manchester United the team that lost, they had the upper hand in possession as the team of Louis van Gaal had 70% of possession and more shots being fired from the players hailing from Old Trafford.

Even with the dominance that Manchester United had implanted into the game, they still lost the match as Chelsea continues their run for their 5th Premier League title.

There are a total of 6 Premier League matches left in the season that Chelsea has to play before the campaign reaches its end and with an advantage of 10 points, Jose Mourinho and his men are in a very comfortable position as they only have to win 3 more matches and it will be enough for them to be crowned as the champions of England.

Manchester United turned to consistent Debator

Manchester United turned to consistent Debator

Manchester United has turned into a consistent topic of discussion for football fans as there is always something going on involving Old Trafford or Louis van Gaal.

A few days ago Sam Allardyce critiqued Louis van Gaal for his long ball playing style that the Dutchman has been implementing in recent times and the criticism continued on when the former Manchester United player Paul Scholes called his labeled his former team as ‘’miserable’’.

There aren’t many fans that agree to the decisions that the Dutchman Louis van Gaal has made since taking over the club but despite all of the harsh and negative feedback that the experienced coach has received lately, he has somehow pushed Manchester United in the 3rd spot of the Premier League.

The fastest man alive, Usain Bolt has not been shy in revealing to the public that he is a fan of Manchester United and everything that the club represents when it comes to football but even the Jamaican sprint runner does not agree with the things that have been happening with the English club.
