NEWCASTLE EYEING JANUARY RAID FOR LENGLET
Newcastle United are reportedly plotting a move for French defender Christian Lengletahead of the January transfer window. This is according to the latest reports emanating from the Spanish media. The specific report from Catalan publication SPORTstated that the Magpies areeyeing a move for Lenglet who’s out-of-favour at Barcelona.
Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has opted for the likes of Gerard Pique, summer signing Eric Garcia and Ronald Araujo ahead of Lenglet at the heart of the Barcelona defence this season.
Newcastle United fans are in dreamland following the £300m takeover of the club by the Saudi-led consortium called PIF (Public Investment Fund). After a protracted takeover saga spanning several months, the Saudi-led takeover was confirmed last week.
